ive been to see my midwife and shes very understanding but theres just nothing anyone can do.
i had a scan at EPU at 7 weeks and all looked fine, no bleeding or anything. I had a 4th miscarrige back in May and i am now nearly 7 weeks pregnant. This time i am taking cyclogest pesseraies as well as low does aspirin and high does folic acid that i took last time.
Even if you've had a miscarriage before, as long as your current pregnancy is going well, you may not be offered a scan. So if you need the reassurance, your GP should be able to request an early scan for you.
The only reason for having a scan before you’re six weeks pregnant is to rule out an ectopic pregnancy.
As soon as Charles, now six months old, was born, Fiona and her partner Adam Boreham, from Portishead in Somerset, were told that their son had Down's syndrome. He also had a hole in the heart and a faulty heart valve.'At first, I thought my baby was dead, because he was all scrunched up and purple, and the midwife was blowing on him as if to revive him,' says Fiona. 'I asked if he was alive, and they said "Yes", but I knew something wasn't right.' After a few minutes, the midwife gently broke the news that their son had Down's syndrome.I have just found out I’m pregnant again with number 4. I’m extremely anxious, worried all the time, due to the fact I’ve had 2 very early miscarriages at 5 weeks, the last 2 months. But I’m worrying constantly, taking pregnancy tests every week, so scared about going to the toilet in case I see blood. I don’t have hardly any symptoms, which worries me more.
